From December 3 to 9, 2018, the far Eastern fair was held on Tverskaya square for the second time as part of the" days of the Far East in Moscow", which was attended by all 11 regions of the region.
Visitors of the fair were able to get acquainted with the culture, history and modern life of the Far East. At the culinary school, guests were taught to salt red caviar, prepare crabs, tartare from meat and fish, and make buuz (the Buryat equivalent of dumplings). At the master classes on traditional far Eastern folk crafts and crafts, guests could learn the basics of carving mammoth bone, painting wooden dishes, horsehair weaving, and making fish skin products.
During the days of the fair, 90 performances of far Eastern artists and leading folk groups of the region were held on the stage.
